Being Prepared for the Big One!

Emergency Preparedness for the High School Grades with a Focus on Earthquakes

Instructions: 

1.  Go to www.getprepared.ca and down load an epub of the booklet, “ Your emergency preparedness guide”  Read it.  Email your teacher and tell her that you have.

2.  Go to this site and with your parents make an emergency plan.  You can download and print one out or you can fill it out online.  Make sure to save it! or your work will be lost.  Email a copy to your teacher for assessment.  http://www.getprepared.gc.ca/cnt/plns/index-eng.aspx

3.  Read “Earthquakes: Be Ready” PDF document that is attached.  Talk over with your family how you would use the plan you made in the case of a large earthquake.
