Learning Goal - How to Cite a Source

As students mature, they need to realize that any time they use ideas, pictures, or material from a resource other than their own head, they need to cite their sources.

As students are able, they can cite their sources in the following ways:

  • At the end of a paper or presentation, use the title "Sources".  Under the title, list the books, websites, etc. that were used.
  • At the end of a paper or presentation, use the titles "Sources", "Websites", "Images".  Under the appropriate titles, list the sources used. 
  • High school - Use MLA style for formal presentations.  See:
